Isamar Diving Center Chioggia

Isamar Holiday Village gives to enthusiasts of the sea and of its depths a special surprise: a Diving Center in Chioggia that organizes dives in the open sea, to get to know a naturalistic area of great charm, the beautiful Marine Park of Tegnùe of Chioggia.

The submerged rocks of the Northern Adriatic Sea are real natural reef, which differ from the tropical ones because here the construction is not made by corals, but by the red coral limestone algae. Fishermen call them "Tegnùe" for their ability to retain and break the fishing nets.

The Tegnùe of Chioggia spread over an area of 35 km and are becoming a point of reference for divers for the life forms that you can admire diving in these waters. An area of high naturalistic value, which in 2002 was declared Area of biological protection, with prohibition of fishing.

Isamar is a camp site that organizes diving courses on the beach of Chioggia for adults and children, for beginners and for the achievement of the PADI and CMAS certification. We organize excursions in the open sea and diving in search of wrecks on the seabed, including the mercantile Eudokia II, a cargo ship sank in 1991 following a collision, 6 miles from the coast. 100 meters long and 12 meters high is now entirely covered by marine flora and hosts many species of fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
